Cosmetic dentists often talk about “full mouth reconstruction,” and this case is a clear example of why it’s sometimes essential. Years of severe tooth wear, missing back teeth, and multiple fractures had left the patient with a smile that was not only unattractive but also not functioning properly. The facial structure had begun to collapse, causing sunken cheeks and lips—much like the appearance of someone without their denture in. Through detailed planning and the use of carefully crafted temporary restorations, we were able to regain nearly half an inch of lost vertical height. We rebuilt the bite, restored the teeth with stunning ceramic restorations, and reestablished harmony between aesthetics and function. The transformation was remarkable!
