Cosmetic dentists often reference a “full mouth rehabilitation”. Here is a perfect example of a case where that was absolutely necessary. Terrible wear, broken teeth, and lost molars led to an unaesthetic and poorly functioning smile. The patient also experienced collapse of the cheeks and lips similar to what you see on a patient when someone removes a denture from their mouth. Careful planning and temporary restoration design allowed us to get nearly a half inch of height back that was lost to wear and aging. We restored the bite, corrected the wear with new, beautiful ceramic restorations, and created a platform for proper function. This one turned out amazing!
