A Level Playing Field.
This particular patient had all but given up hope ever having a confident smile. Years of decay, broken/ misshapen teeth, and overbite, and very uneven gums hide a nuanced issue that proved to be a huge challenge: “How do we fit an ideal smile into a frame that’s canted so far from the ideal?”
Starting with a full clean out of the old fillings and tooth decay, we set the foundation for clean, healthy tooth structure to be built upon. We then used the temporary veneers as a guide to move the gum and bone level surgically to even the gum line and level the foundation. We finished with beautiful porcelain veneers and a few ceramic crowns were needed to build the bite into the same balanced frame as the smile. The outcome is amazing, don’t you agree?
