As a native New Yorker, I would have never imagined that I would attend dental school on the west coast and meet the love of my life; but that’s exactly what happened, and I brought him back with me! Dr. Yev and I, as well as our team, work hand-in-hand to provide you with comprehensive care strategies using the most impressive technology available. Dr. Yev is much more the artist dentist and I am the critical eye and engineer orthodontist. My job is to improve the way your teeth come together and function, as well as create aesthetic proportions and symmetry to your smile.
After completing my dental degree from the University of California in San Francisco, Dr. Yev and I moved back to New York to start our post-graduate training. I completed a one year General Practice Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx and then continued my journey into pursuing my true passion of orthodontics earning the prestigious Herzberg award for clinical excellence. I haven't ventured off too far from my work in underserved communities as I additionally practice with the NYU Orthodontics Health Center at Sunset Park in Brooklyn.
I specialize in clear aligner therapy and interdisciplinary cases involving a coordinated effort from all areas of dentistry, including orthognathic (jaw) surgery and cosmetic enhancing treatments. I take great pride in treating the patient holistically and have undergone extensive training on medical aesthetics to incorporate them into our practice. When treating you, I'm not just looking at your smile, I'm looking at the whole picture and am here to give you an exceptional experience and result that you will love for years to come.
When I'm not treating our amazing patients I take a lot of joy in taking care of my face, mind and body. Masks and moisturizers for the face, a good workout and great nutrition for the body and a cheese plate and some great TV for the mind!
